Even more support!

Well…. It’s now just over 7 weeks until I’ll set off from John O’Groats with 900 miles in front of me to Lands End. I wont lie, I’m starting to get a bit nervous about it…. Ok, a lot nevous! But I‘ve got fabulous news that is helping to ease some of the nerves.
A few weeks ago I popped into a local bike shop to look at shiny bikes and dream about what could be. I really wanted to get a new bike for the challenge but couldn’t really make the sums work. While I was there, I got chatting to Andy (in the picture below) and he asked what I want the bike for, once I‘d explained what I was doing he offered support straight away and I was absolutely blown away.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and Andy & I went out on a nice 30 mile ride with the obligatory stop for coffee & cake and and a good long chat about my ride and what I needed. Then went via JE James in Rotherham on the way home. We looked at various bikes and settled on rather fancy looking Giant and with the unbelievable support of JE James (they offered a fabulous deal on it) meant that I could actually get on new wheels…. Not only that, but they are also helping with providing spares & equipment too and sharing my story on the social media’s!
I‘m absolutely over the moon that huge dealer like JE James want to support someone like me, it means I‘ve got a bike that I can rely and the technical support & knowhow to go with it from the fantastic mechanics.
